“We need to work together across race, religion and political divides to bring people together, not pull them apart.”

Diversity and Multiculturalism

Fake News Reports:

The media wants you to believe that Dan Forest does not stand with minority communities in North Carolina and that he criticized diversity and multiculturalism at a church in Salisbury.

The Truth:

Dan delivered a Sunday message to the growing and diverse congregation of Cornerstone Church in Salisbury in June 2019. His speech has been taken out of context by American Bridge, a noted left wing George Soros funded democrat opposition research organization.

Dan’s message was about loving your neighbor and not allowing the left or the media to divide us into factions based on identity politics. The fact that Dan is being attacked by a group that thrives on the tactics of identity politics only proves his point.

Dan believes that all people are made in the image of God and that there is inherent dignity in every human being. Dan believes in the dream for every person to be able to find hope and opportunity in America and works toward justice, equality, and freedom for every person, no matter their skin color.

Dan’s goal is to create unity among all people. He is focused on running a campaign that brings people together of all different backgrounds.

Don’t take our word for it:

Here’s what the Pastor of Cornerstone Church had to say about the speech.

“I am the Founder and Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Salisbury, N.C. For the past 32 years, Cornerstone has been about bringing people together. Some 35 nationalities meet every Sunday to Worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Since the Lt. Governor made his remarks, I have watched whites, blacks, and hispanics come together like never before. I don’t know of one person that remained in their seat at the close of Mr. Forest remarks. I proudly look forward to casting my vote for Dan Forest for the Governor of N.C. God bless! – Pastor Bill Goldair (Facebook, July 2019)
